Adam Copeland reacts to his TNT Title match with Kyle O'Reilly.
Adam Copeland reflects on his TNT title match with Kyle O'Reilly.
On the Saturday edition of AEW Collision, the show was main evented by the TNT title bout between Copeland and Kyle. In the end, Copeland would defeat O'Reilly.
While speaking in a digitial exclusive after AEW Collision, Copeland noted that if Kyle gets another shot at the title, there's a good chance he walks away with the gold.
"Tonight was just an example of why I came to AEW. To get in there with a talent like Kyle O'Reilly in his hometown, 25 years after his dad brought him to see his first wrestling show, which I was on. You fast forward 25 years later and there we are in the main event for the TNT Championship and his dad is here tonight. I know it didn't end the way that he necessarily would have wanted it to. But what an absolute pleasure and a privilege to get in there with a talent like that and just wrestle. I'm feeling the effects. But yeah, those are the moments, the way the crowd reacted before we even locked up. I mean, that's why you do this, is for nights like this. It's a night like this that I know I'm not sleeping cuz I'm gonna be buzzing after that thing. Vancouver brought it and I know they were with their hometown boy and I get it and I don't blame them. Kyle is coming back off of a really bad injury. If there's anybody who can relate to that, it's me. What he brought tonight, man, I gotta tell you, he gets another shot at this. There's a good chance he's walking away with this. He's that good. So Kyle, strangely, thank you."
