Adam Copeland Thinks Hangman Adam Page & Kyle Fletcher Will Be Facing Each Other For Years To Come, Could See It Becoming ‘Rock-Austin Type Thing’

Copeland is looking forward to the World Title match.

On the marquee for AEW’s upcoming All Out pay-per-view is an AEW World Championship match that’ll see Hangman Adam Page defending against Kyle Fletcher.

The All Out card was delved into by Adam Copeland as he was speaking to the Toronto Sun. While discussing Fletcher versus Hangman, Copeland thinks it’ll be a coming-out party for Fletcher. He added that he could see those two competitors battling for years to come and thinks it will be similar to The Rock versus Stone Cold Steve Austin.

“It’s one thing with AEW, man, you’re gonna get your money’s worth on a pay-per-view. We fire all guns, and then it’s up to you to just try and keep up. I love both guys, I love both their work, especially with what they’re both doing right now but I think this is gonna be a coming-out party for Kyle Fletcher. I think people are in a main event-style world title match, believe it’s his first world title match. With what Hangman (Adam Page) and where he’s at right now and everything he’s doing is just firing on multiple cylinders. The guy’s got it figured out. He really knows his character. He really — you can tell — puts attention and thought into his promos and his storylines. I feel like that one is the first of many between those guys. I could see that being a Rock-Austin type thing, and where those guys continue to keep running up against each other and then you throw in the Swerves and the Ospreays and guys like that into that mix too and then you can throw Darby (Allin) into that. There’s so many young, talented people doing it at a level that — I think Fletcher’s 26? Or something. He’s very young and to be where he’s at, it’s incredible, and how much he’s grown and blossomed in the last, you know, just a couple of years, not even. So, I’m gonna be watching that one for sure…”

Fletcher is the reigning TNT Champion, and it was agreed upon that if any member of The Don Callis Family gets involved in the title match, Fletcher will be stripped of the TNT Title.
