During the match, Maclin used a goalie mask to inflict damage, tables and ladders were brought out, Maclin hit Copeland with the five knuckle shuffle and AA, but only got a one count, and Copeland fired up with a Hulk Hogan comeback, complete with the big boot and leg drop.
Later in the match, Maclin’s wife Deonna Purrazzo appeared, taking out the referee and Copeland with pepper spray. Maclin and Deonna were setting up to hit the conchairto, but Rhino made the save, hitting a gore on Deonna.
This was Copeland’s first non-WWE or AEW match since 2001 when he wrestled for Heartland Wrestling Association. It was also his first singles match since August 2025 when he faced Stokely Hathaway.
