Adam Pearce Takes Rey Mysterio Off Team Raw For Survivor Series, Replacement Named

Bobby Lashley takes out another Mysterio.

When the original WWE Raw men’s Survivor Series team was first named, both Rey and Dominik Mysterio were named as representatives for the team.

On November 8, Adam Pearce decided that he wanted Dominik to earn his spot on the team as he was the only original representative that had never been named a World Champion. Dominik would be defeated by a former WWE Champion, a returning Bobby Lashley and Bobby Lashley would take his spot on said team.

This week, it was Rey Mysterio’s turn to feel the wrath of Bobby Lashley and Bobby Lashley did defeat Rey Mysterio in the main event on November 15 and much like his son, Rey Mysterio was immediately replaced on the Survivor Series team by a young Austin Theory, who just happened to be on the scene long enough to take a celebratory selfie.

This is still not the final change to be made for the 10-man tag team match on Sunday as there is an open slot to be filled on team SmackDown because Sami Zayn lost his spot to Jeff Hardy.
