AEW Announces Kris Statlander Is Not Cleared To Wrestle

Kris Statlander is not currently cleared to compete.

AEW made the announcement on Wednesday’s Dynamite, saying Statlander wouldn’t be cleared to wrestle for a couple of weeks following her strap match against Thekla last Wednesday.

Statlander lost the strap match, and lost the AEW Women’s Championship as well.

Statlander said she didn’t want to wrestle, she wanted to fight Thekla. Thunder Rosa appeared next to Statlander, announcing she was cleared to compete and challenged Thekla. Statlander told Rosa she needed to watch her back.

It is unknown when Kris Statlander will return to the ring.
