A key member of the AEW team is retiring, and she was celebrated ahead of the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Fightful Select reported on June 7 that seamstress Sandra Gray is retiring. She has been with the company since it launched in 2019, and she is wrapping up on the road. Gray is universally loved in the wrestling world, and she has worked with WCW, WWE, and WCW throughout her career.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports that, prior to the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, Dustin Rhodes came to the stage and led the crowd in celebrating Gray. Tony Khan, several members of the roster and staff joined her on the stage and presented her with flowers.
Throughout her remarkable career, Gray's contributions to the wrestling world have been immeasurable. She is credited with making Naomi's Glow Suit a reality, creating the blood drips on Scott Hall's gear, and many other iconic pieces of gear.
Per Fightful Select, Gray will continue to make Cody Rhodes' gear, which she has been doing for years. Brandi Rhodes, Cody's wife, was instrumental in bringing Gray to AEW when it launched.
Fightful wishes Gray well in her retirement.
