It's Tuesday, October 18, 2022, and you know what that means, it's time to break down a special Tuesday night episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
For the first time in a year-and-a-half, AEW Dynamite will go head-to-head with WWE NXT tonight as Dynamite airs in a special time slot, 24 hours ahead of when it would normally air. Tonight, Dynamite will emanate from Cincinnati, Ohio, the home of Jon Moxley and Moxley will have a major challenge in front of him as Hangman Page looks to regain the AEW World Championship. Tonight will also feature Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and A Ring of Honor World Championship defense by "The Ocho" Chris Jericho.

Jon Moxley And Hangman Page Look To Prove Who Is The Face Of AEW Once And For All
Jon Moxley and Hangman Page are two names associated with the very top of the card in All Elite Wrestling and it has been that way since day one. However, Jon Moxley has waited three years for this match because while he has faced every other member of The Elite, Jon Moxley has yet to cross paths with the Anxious Millennial Cowboy. In recent weeks, both men have exchanged verbal barbs with one another and each has a lot to prove because, why are they both want AEW to succeed, only one man can sit at the top of the heap.
Last week, Hangman made himself bleed while cutting a passionate promo to Jon Moxley about how much he's lost in the last year oh, he will look to use that emotion in order to regain his second World Championship. Meanwhile, it's just another day at the office for Jon Moxley. He was supposed to be on vacation but now, he's too busy forging his legacy.
Toni Storm Answers The Challenge Of Hikaru Shida
This week, Toni Storm will make yet another defense of her interim AEW Women's World Championship. This time, she will face former champion Hikaru Shida. With Thunder Rosa waiting in the wings for whoever wins this match, Toni Storm recently stated that she wants to do away with the interim label on her title run. Can she keep her run going tonight? We will find out.
The Ocho vs. The Peacock
Chris Jericho's Ring of Jericho era continues as he looks to successfully defend the Ring of Honor World Championship against former champion, Dalton Castle. Chris Jericho previously stated that he is looking to change the face of Ring of Honor and dismantle everything and everyone that stands for what Ring of Honor used to be. Will he continue his crusade tonight, or will he be outmatched by the strength of peacock power?
The Best Friends Look To Add More Gold
6 days after Orange Cassidy became AEW All-Atlantic Champion, the best friends will now challenge death triangle for the Trios Championship belts and if they win, Orange Cassidy will be only the second champion to hold two belts specifically pertaining to AEW.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman Speaks
With a major world title bout taking place tonight, Maxwell Jacob Friedman will be in the building and maybe, tonight is the night that he cashes in his poker chip guaranteeing him a championship opportunity. Last week, MJF that he's not a fan of the person he is when he looks in the mirror but he's proud but he understands what is necessary in order to be successful in wrestling.
Blackpool Combat Club Keeps It Real
Tonight, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta will sit down and speak with Renee Paquette. Bryan is very familiar with Renee as they both hosted WWE Talking Smack in 2016. In a separate interview segment, Tony Schiavone will interview his old friend, "His lordship" William Regal. What will The Blackpool Combat Club have to say just moments before Jon Moxley defends his World Championship?
