MJF's Re-Bar Mitzvah
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is not only celebrating his birthday on March 15, but he is also celebrating his successful AEW World Championship defense over Bryan Danielson in a 60-Minute Ironman Match at AEW Revolution.
Just how will he do that? By having a re-bar mitzvah celebration, of course. 'Tis the season for Max-a-Mania.
While there may not be a sign to point at for this Mania celebration, MJF is ready to get festive as he celebrates his favorite person thing in this world and perhaps the only person he can truly rely on, himself.
Jade Cargill's Canadian Open Challenge For The AEW TBS Championship
Jade Cargill wants competition and on March 15, she's specifically looking for competition coming directly from Canada. With Canada being host to a litany of great wrestlers through the decades, a Canadian homegrown star has the opportunity to make history tonight and become the first woman to defeat Jade Cargill ever. Currently, this opponent is unknown and it looks to use the power of the unknown to their advantage.
Blackpool Combat Club Face Hangman & Dark Order
After Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley, and Claudio Castagnoli fully embraced their vicious side last week by taking out their frustrations on Alex Silver and John Silver, Hangman Page came out to try and quell tensions. That did not work out well, as the Blackpool Combat Club attacked the "Anxious Millenial Cowboy."
Now in an effort to defend the honor of The Dark Order as a whole and gain a measure of Revenge for several acts of violence committed over the past several weeks, Stu Grayson has been called back into AEW for this one special Canada show as he teams with Evil Uno & Hangman Page in what is shaping up to be a volatile Trios bout.
On March 15, this rivalry gets taken to the next level.
Jeff Jarrett Faces Orange Cassidy As The AEW All-Atlantic Championship Levels Up
Orange Cassidy will once again be defending his AEW All-Atlantic Championship. However, this will be the final time he defends that title. The winner of tonight's match between Cassidy and Jeff Jarrett will be crowned AEW International Championship as the title levels up less than one year after its inception. Will orange Cassidy remain a fighting champion or does Jeff Jared have the stroke to Come Away with one more singles championship in his career? We find out on March 15 in a match presented in partnership with the new Shazam movie.
Three Teams of 3 Clash For Trios Titles
Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega are back in Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, and they're each looking to bring home the AEW World Trios Titles alongside their tag team partners for the evening.
Chris Jericho will be teaming up with Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara. Kenny Omega will be teaming with the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, as The Elite looks to become the first-ever three-time AEW World Trios Champions. Still, as qualified as all six Challengers are in the ring and as deadly as the teams can be, The House of Black just captured gold for the first time in AEW, and they're not likely to give up without a fight.
In addition to the nine men in the ring, the situation leaves itself open for many players outside the ring, including Don Callis, Julia Hart, Jake Hager, Tay Conti, and more.
With hometown heroes, Trios gold, and more involved in this match, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada is in for a treat.
QTV Debuts
One week after helping Powerhouse Hobbs capture the AEW TNT Title from Wardlow, QT Marshall will debut "QTV." promising to be a source of legitimate news for all things AEW, Marshall will have the new TNT Champion on the debut episode of QTV and promises to reveal the truth about who broke into Wardlow's car last week.
The Outcasts Speak
Ruby Soho, Saraya, and Toni Storm, the group of former WWE Superstars dubbed "The Outcasts" have turned the AEW women's division upside down. On March 15, they will be speaking their mind and perhaps even eyeing a next target as the war between outsiders and homegrown talent continues.
