AEW Dynamite & NXT Viewership Drop For 3/11 Episode

With news coverage on the coronavirus outbreak dominating television on March 11, AEW Dynamite and NXT saw their viewership drop.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the March 11 episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 766,000 viewers, which is down from the 906,000 viewers the March 4 episode drew. This week's episode of Dynamite drew the lowest viewership number of 2020 and the lowest since December 18, 2019. As for NXT, the show averaged 697,000 viewers, which is down from the 718,000 viewers the March 4 episode drew.

In the 18-49 demographic, AEW also won out against NXT, averaging a 0.26 rating (25th best on cable for the day) while NXT did a 0.21 rating (42nd best on cable for the day).

Dynamite saw the debut of Lance Archer as Jake Roberts' client as well as the in-ring debut of the Death Triangle, taking on Private Party & Joey Janela. In the main event, Hangman Page & Dustin Rhodes scored a victory over Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

NXT featured a special episode from the WWE Performance Center. Both the BroserWeights and Keith Lee successfully defended their NXT Tag Team and North American titles, respectively in separate matches.
