Hiroshi Tanahashi will be in the building for a face-to-face with Jon Moxley ahead of their championship match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Chris Jericho could be losing a Hair vs. Hair match for the first time in his career. The Young Bucks look to become the first-ever two-time AEW Tag Team Champions in a Ladder Match, and much more is set to happen on tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS. The Young Bucks Look To Prove That They're Still At The Top Of The Ladder
Now having an opportunity to have a two-on-two Tag Team Championship Ladder Match against Jurassic Express, Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks look to prove they are still the best tag team in the world. Jurassic Express has overcome the odds every time they've defended their gold and in their first Ladder Match on global television, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, want to prove that they deserve their spot. With Christian Cage in their corner, one of the pioneers of the tag team ladder match, anything can happen.
Chris Jericho Puts All Of His Hair On The Line In Order To Get Revenge On Ortiz
Weeks ago, Ortiz cut a lock of Chris Jericho's hair, which incensed The Wizard. Now, Chris Jericho will once again put his hair on the line in an effort to gain a measure of Revenge on Ortiz in a Hair vs Hair match. In the past, Chris Jericho has been fortunate enough to win these matches and shave the heads of the likes of Kevin Nash. Who will gain the upper hand going into Blood & Guts in 2 weeks? Will Ospreay Makes His Singles Aew Debut
The Kingpin of the United Empire has finally walked through The Forbidden Door. Tonight, Will Ospreay will make his debut in singles competition for AEW and he’ll do so against Dax Harwood. Harwood has been on a tear himself competing against the likes of CM Punk and his own tag team partner, Cash Wheeler in singles action. Tonight, he takes the next step against someone that many consider to be one of the best in the world.
Toni Storm And Britt Baker Run It Back
Britt Baker and Toni Storm have been at odds ever since Toni debuted in AEW. Now, in a one-on-one match with nothing but personal pride on the line, Toni looks to prove that she is better than Baker and Baker looks to get back into title contention. Last week, Storm held Women's World Championship in her hand for the first time and she is also looking to move up the rankings so that she can properly call herself Women's Champion.
Miro and Ethan Page Look To Qualify For The All-Atlantic Championship Match
Miro and Ethan Page will go one-on-one for the first time ever tonight. The winner of this match will move on to the inaugural All-Atlantic Championship 4-Way at Forbidden Door. Page wants to win gold for the first time ever. Miro wants to be a champion again and rub it in the face of God. We will find out who advances tonight.
Wardlow vs. The World
Mark Sterling wants to make Wardlow pay for beating up security. How will he do this? By making Wardlow run through a gauntlet of 20 “Plantiffs.” We could very well see the world record for the most number of powerbombs in a single match be broken tonight.
Jon Moxley And Hiroshi Tanahashi Come Face-To-Face
With the Interim AEW World Championship match in place for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Tanahashi and Jon Moxley will come face-to-face tonight. Even though this is not the match with CM Punk that Hiroshi Tanahashi thought he was going to get, both of these men have shown an interest in fighting the other in the past and now, there is a major prize to fight for.
That is just everything that is announced for tonight's card. Also, Adam Page wants a shot at the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Jay White. Adam Cole also wants a shot at that gold. Jade Cargill and others will also be in attendance.
