AEW Fight Forever Mini-Games Trailer Shows Explosions, Stars Skateboarding Around Barbed Wire, More

The new mini-games in AEW Fight Forever appear to be chaotic fun.

AEW Fight Forever is set to be released on June 29 to the general public. With AEW's first foray into console gaming, the goal reiterated by the team was to create a fun, arcade-style experience that players of all experience levels can enjoy.

One way the game looks to do that is through new mini-games recently put on display with a new sneak peek trailer.

Among other things, Jade Cargill can be seen playing baseball, barrels falling from the sky with wrestlers tossing exploding gaskets at them, and Owen Hart is seen riding around on a skateboard in an arena covered with exploding barbed wire.

As first reported by Fightful Select, Those who worked on the game said Kenny Omega requested the mini-games in AEW Fight Forever. According to sources, Omega insisted on bringing in Geta, who worked on past popular wrestling games.

Additional mini-games will also be included as part of the upcoming DLC packs for the game.

AEW Fight Forever will release on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC on Thursday, June 29. Those who pre-order the Elite Edition can play on Wednesday, June 28.
