AEW Files Lawsuit Against TrillerTV Regarding Overdue Payments

AEW has filed a lawsuit against TrillerTV and its parent company Triller Group, Inc.
According to the lawsuit (via Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling), AEW alleges that the platform owes the company just under $5 million in unpaid revenue from AEW pay-per-view sales and from proceeds for the now-discontinued AEW Plus subscription service.
The complaint also alleges TrillerTV’s parent company used AEW-derived revenues to fund other businesses — including a social media platform that never took off — rather than paying AEW what it was owed.
AEW’s lawsuit alleges breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and tortious interference, among other counts of action.
The lawsuit was filed on April 29 in Duval County Court in Florida.
Flipps Media Inc., the corporate entity underlying TrillerTV, previously filed a lawsuit against Triller Group, Inc claiming that TrillerTV was abandoned by the group. Flipps Media Inc. told the Delaware Chancery Court that the company is insolvent, meaning it’s unable to pay its debts.
AEW’s lawsuit against TrillerTV revealed that it was due 75% of the net revenue from domestic pay-per-view sales and 65% of the net revenue from international sales. For AEW Plus, AEW got 60% of net revenue, with Triller getting the other 40%.
AEW Plus was discontinued in April 2026. AEW launched MyAEW in March.
The lawsuit reveals an April 2026 legal demand showing AEW’s outside counsel claiming $4,988,989.13 in payments were owed by Triller and that the amount is continuing to accrue interest at a rate of 2% per month, in accordance with a contract which has also been filed in the case.
Triller, formerly known as FITE, has had financial issues and was delisted from NASDAQ in January 2026.
