AEW Hoping Swerve Strickland Can Return From Injury This Winter, Barring Any Setbacks
AEW is hoping that Strickland will be back soon.
Swerve Strickland was last in action at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He lost an AEW Unified Championship match to Kazuchika Okada, and post-match, Strickland was taken out by the returning Wardlow.
Strickland has since undergone surgery for a torn meniscus that he had been working on for six years. Per a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW is hopeful that Strickland will be back with them this winter, barring any setbacks.
