AEW Reveals Rules For Broken Rules Match Between Matt Hardy And Sammy Guevara At All Out

The specifics of the upcoming Broken Rules match between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara have been revealed.

It was recently announced that the two of them will have a match at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view, but the rules weren't fully specified except for Hardy leaving AEW if he lost. AEW has since then revealed the rules, which are somewhat similar to that of a Last Man Standing match, where only a winner can be determined once the other wrestler is unable to answer the referee's 10 count.

Matt Hardy To Appear On 4/25 TNA iMPACT!

Below are the rules.

Broken Rules:

  • The winner will be the Last Man Standing, determined when one man can’t answer the referee’s 10 count.
  • The finish can take place anywhere.
  • There must be a winner.
  • If Matt Hardy loses the match, he’ll leave AEW forever.

The Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara feud has met several snags along the way. The two were set for a match in June prior to Guevara's suspension. Upon his return, Hardy was busted open hardway with a chair by Guevara in a spot that Fightful reported caused a "chaotic" scene backstage after it happen

The two finally got in the ring on the August 26 episode of Dynamite, and as Fightful Select reported, had their match heavily cut for time after three segments on the show went over time.

Fightful will have full, live coverage of AEW All Out on Saturday, September 4 from Jacksonville, Florida. We will bring you post-show coverage and live scrums, details pending.
