The stars of AEW's women's division close out RISE's 'Legendary' show.
The all-women's wrestling promotion RISE presented their 'Legendary' show live on FITE TV on Friday night and the show featured the likes of Mercedes Martinez, Shotzi Blackheart and Su Yung. The main event of the night saw All Elite Wrestling star Kylie Rae challenge and defeat Mercedes Martinez for the Phoenix Of RISE Championship. Following the match, Kylie Rae was on the receiving end of a group beat-down led by Zoe Lucas. Coming out to the aid of Kylie was AEW Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes along with Dr. Britt Baker and Nyla Rose. Also joining in were fellow members of AEW's women's division, Penelope Ford and former SHINE Tag Team Champion Allie.
A hug from @IamKylieRae to @NylaRoseBeast might not be enough to make them friends, but the ladies of @AEWrestling stand tall! #ThankYouKylie #RISEonFITE— TDE Wrestling (@tde_wrestling) March 30, 2019
There is currently one women's match slated for AEW's 'Double Or Nothing' show and that is the Triple Threat between Nyla Rose, Dr. Britt Baker and Kylie Rae. AEW co-Executive Vice Presidents The Young Bucks recently announced that at Double Or Nothing, they'll be putting their AAA World Tag Titles on the line against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix and mere weeks before Double Or Nothing, the Lucha Bros are defending their IMPACT World Tag Titles against L.A.X. at IMPACT Wrestling's 'Rebellion' pay-per-view.
