AEW is loading up the card for the August 19 episode of AEW Rampage.
The AEW World Trios Championship Tournament will continue on the show, as the Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) and Orange Cassidy will face The TrustBusters in a first-round match. Daivari has unsuccessful in his efforts to recruit Cassidy to his group. "Freshly Squeezed" defeated him in a singles match on the August 12 episode of AEW Rampage, and Daivari will aim to get revenge next week.
Elsewhere on the show, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Private Party. During the August 12 episode of AEW Rampage, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen made it clear that they want to challenge for the gold. Later in the show, Lee and Strickland discussed the challenge. The powerhouse encouraged the duo to do the math, noting that they didn't stand a chance against him by himself, let alone alongside Strickland.

Plus, HOOK will defend the FTW Championship. The fan-favorite star came to the ring during the August 12 episode of AEW Rampage, but Zack Clayton quickly interrupted. The self-proclaimed reality TV megastar challenged HOOK to a match for the title, and the champion accepted.
