Don Callis interrupted the contract signing, claiming Konosuke Takeshita should be in the match. As Omega cut off Callis, saying he knew all of Callis' tricks, Callis said Omega, "Didn't know this one," leading to Okada attacking Omega.
Okada hit Omega in the abdomen with a police baton and then hit a top rope elbow drop on Omega as he was being loaded onto a stretcher.
Callis and Okada fled the scene as Omega was coughing up blood and being taken away.
