AEW Women's Title Eliminator Tournament Update: Finals Set In Japan, Semifinals Set In US

The AEW Women's Title Eliminator Tournament continued on Monday with four women advancing to the next week.

On the Japan side of the bracket, Yuka Sakazaki and Ryo Mizunami advanced to the finals with respective victories over Emi Sakura and Aja Kong. The winner between Sakazaki and Mizunami will move on to the overall finals where they will meet the winner from the US side of the bracket. The bout is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 28 on Bleacher Report.

On the US side, Nyla Rose advanced with a victory over Tay Conti and Britt Baker advanced with a victory over Madi Wrenkowski, who was a replacement for Anna Jay. Jay suffered a shoulder injury that will sideline her for at least six to twelve months.

Baker and Rose will face off on the February 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. The winner of that bout will meet the winner of Riho vs. Thunder Rosa, which is scheduled to air on Sunday, February 28 on Bleacher Report in the finals of the US bracket. Also set for Sunday a six-woman tag team match that pits Hikaru Shida, Mei Suruga, & Rin Kadokura against Emi Sakura, Veny, & Maki Itoh.

The winner of the tournament will challenge Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's Championship at AEW Revolution.
