AEW is celebrating one year of Dynamite with a world title match.

AEW announced that the October 14 episode of Dynamite will be the show's anniversary event and the first and only match confirmed for it is Jon Moxley vs. Lance Archer for the AEW World Championship.

Moxley has held the AEW title since he defeated Chris Jericho at the Revolution pay-per-view. Since then, Moxley has defended the titles against the likes of Darby Allin, Brodie Lee, Brian Cage and most recently, MJF at All Out.

Archer, who signed with AEW earlier this year, will challenge to become the third AEW World Champion in history. Archer got the title shot after he was declared the winner of the Casino Battle Royale at All Out and ranked No. 1 in the AEW men's singles rankings.
