AEW’s Darius Martin Opening Wrestling School
AEW’s Darius Martin is opening a training school.
The latest guest to join Will Washington and Aubrey Edwards on AEW Unrestricted was Zayda Steel. Steel is a member of SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Darius Martin, Dante Martin & Christopher Daniels).
She revealed that Darius is about to open his own wrestling school. That information came about as Steel was talking about dropping out of high school to pursue wrestling.
“Yeah,” Steel confirmed that she dropped out of high school to pursue wrestling. “Yeah, listen, I don’t wanna do anything with my life at all besides wrestle and maybe work behind the scenes in wrestling when it’s all said and done. Darius (Martin) is opening up a school. I would love to help out with that. I just love wrestling. Maybe tap into Hollywood down the line? But, I love this and like I said, I’m here in AEW. This is where the best wrestle. I’m surrounded by people who just genuinely, genuinely love professional wrestling.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Steel opened up about leaving the WWE I.D. program and then being contacted by AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan five days later.
