Airica Demia On WWE ID Women’s Title Match: I’ve Never Felt Better About Anything I’ve Ever Done

Airica Demia recalls taking part in a huge match for WWE ID.

Back in November, Demia was a part of a huge six-woman elimination match to determine the brand new WWE ID Women’s Champion. Laynie Luck, Brittnie Brooks, Notorious Mimi, Shannon LeVangie, and Tiara James also took part in the match, with Luck emerging as the brand new champion.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Airica Demia spoke about the opportunity, saying that she’s never felt better about anything that she’s done in her career.

“Insane and very motivating, honestly. Because I think everybody has the moments where they’re like, ‘I’m not good enough for this.’ But right now, I’ve never felt better about anything I’ve ever done.”

Demia went on to talk about how the opportunity landed at her feet and the feedback that she recieved.

“So I put my name in for Wrestling Open and just saying I was available/ I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll be there that weekend if you guys have a spot open.’ They emailed me, they were like, ‘Hey, send us a quick email saying that you’re available for the WWE ID match.’ I was like, ‘What? I didn’t even know that was a thing. Where did this come from?’ But yeah, that’s pretty much when I found out that it was going to be a possibility and then shortly thereafter, I was informed that I would be part of the match. I feel like I got quite a bit of good feedback, a lot of reassuring moments, obviously things that I need to work on. But it was really nice to know that every bit of effort that I’ve put in lately to get better has been paying off.”
