AJ Francis Debuts On NXT, Helps Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott Vanquish Leon Ruff

Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott has found himself a bodyguard.

Scott and Leon Ruff opened Tuesday's NXT with a Falls Count Anywhere match that spilled across the Capital Wrestling Center. The two men battled over the barricade and into the audience area, where Ruff climbed up to the next story, looking to leap onto Scott.

However, AJ Francis appeared and Ruff changed his direction. Going after Francis turned out to be a mistake as Ruff was caught and Francis dumped him neck first onto the barricade and back to ringside.

Scott would hit the JML inside the ring to pick up the victory.

As Scott headed up the ramp, he was joined by Francis, Briana Brandy, and Ashante Thee Adonis.

AJ Francis has been part of WWE's Hidden Treasures series on A&E. He was part of the April 2019 WWE Performance Center recruiting class.
