AJ Francis explains why he called out Avery Styles.
Avery Styles would likely have had his TNA debut against AJ Francis if Frankie Kazarian had not stopped him. Francis had called out Avery on the 9/3 TNA Impact, and while Avery accepted, Kazarian didn’t let the match become official.
Speaking with SA Live, Francis was asked about Avery Styles and why he called him out for a match. It turns out that Avery’s father, AJ Styles, is the reason for all of this.
“I’m calling him out because his daddy is ducking me. I’ve been trying to fight his daddy for years. We almost fought one time on SmackDown. It ended up not happening. He sucker punched me, gave me a Phenomenal Forearm after the match. He didn’t have to do that, so I’ve been trying to call him out for years. Now, because his son is in TNA, I’m gonna spank his son like he should have a long time ago.”
