AJ Styles Addresses Complaints Avery Styles Wrestles Too Much Like Him, ‘Everyone Finds Someone To Look Up To’
Avery Styles is 19 years old and less than 20 matches into his career, but fans have already noticed just how much he wrestles like his father, AJ Styles.
Avery has done moves like the phenomenal forearm, the slide under the guardrail, the spiral tap, and more.
Speaking to Cody Rhodes on What Do You Want To Talk About?, AJ addressed criticism that Avery wrestles too much like him.
“The biggest problem that a lot of people have right now is they ed up being like someone else. I know that he is doing a lot of my stuff. In time, he will realize that he is able to do other stuff and be his own person. I wanted to be like Billy Kidman. As I was progressing, it changed, and it was something totally different. Everybody finds someone to look up to when they first get into the business, and then you transition into another character and do other things that are more you,” he said.
Avery is currently signed to TNA and is set to compete in the Call Your Shot gauntlet at Bound For Glory.
