AJ Styles Becomes 3-Time WWE United States Champion At WWE Extreme Rules By Beating Ricochet

AJ Styles is a champion again.

Success met the decorated superstar pretty quickly after reforming the Club, as Styles became a three-time WWE United States Champion at WWE Extreme Rules. It took a distraction from his Club cohorts, as well as a huge second-rope Styles Clash on Ricochet to get it done, but it happened.

You can see an excerpt from our live coverage below.

Ricochet then nails Styles with a shooting star press for a near fall, Ricochet goes for the 630 until Anderson distracts him. Ricochet kicks Anderson in the face and goes back to the top rope, Gallows crotches Ricochet while the ref was distracted. Styles nails Ricochet with a super Styles Clash for a three count.

Winner: AJ Styles w/Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, your new WWE United States Champion

Ricochet's first reign as WWE United States Champion ends after only three weeks. There have already been seven United States Title changes in 2019, after only six all of 2018.
