AJ Styles: Everything You Do In NXT Doesn't Translate In Front Of "The Big Man"

AJ Styles discusses a potential feud with Undisputed Era.

Even though AJ Styles didn't go through NXT to get to the main roster, he knows a little something about patiently waiting for his opportunity to showcase his talent in front of the largest audience in the world. Speaking to Cathy Kelley on WWE Now, Styles discussed who he sees as the next main roster superstar from NXT.

WWE SmackDown (4/19/2024) Results: Bayley vs Naomi, LA Knight vs AJ Styles, The Bloodline, AOP, More

"I think Adam Cole will be one of those guys. [Undisputed Era] would definitely work well in the WWE," said Styles. "There's a number of guys and girls if I'm being honest. Do things change when you get to the main roster? 100%. Everything that you do in NXT doesn't translate in front of [Vince McMahon], so there will be some changes, and if you're able to adapt to those changes, and still be you at the same time, I think you'll be very successful."

With Styles reuniting with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in recent months, the trio, known collectively as The OC, has begun to run roughshod over the Raw brand. Styles is the current United States Champion while Gallows & Anderson hold the Raw Tag Team Titles. Down in NXT, Adam Cole runs the brand as the current NXT Champion.

When asked about a potential OC vs. Undisputed Era feud, Styles said, "I think that would be something that everyone would want to see; The Undisputed Era against The OC. Does that mean we're gonna have to get a fourth? I guess so because there's only three of us, not that I don't think that the three of us couldn't beat all four. Maybe there will be a time and a place to find out."

On the subject of NXT, Styles revealed the reason why he bypassed the yellow brand and immediately joined the main roster. You can view his comments by clicking here.
