AJ Styles Posts Cryptic Hourglass Image On Instagram
AJ Styles shares a cryptic image on social media that could hint his career as a professional wrestler is winding down.
AJ Styles recently posted a photo on social media showing an hourglass, with a fading image of his “P1” logo inside it that appears to be turning to dust at the bottom of the hourglass. There is no caption to this photo.

Fightful Select reported in July that sources close to the former WWE Champion claimed AJ Styles had signed a year-long contract extension with WWE. His contract was close to its expiration date in 2024, but he sustained an injury that kept him sidelined. When he signed a new contract in 2019, Styles had claimed that it was the last professional wrestling contract he’d ever sign.
AJ Styles has been wrestling for over twenty years. Over the last ten years of his career, he has been with WWE. He made his WWE debut at the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble Match. Currently, Styles is heavily featured on WWE programming. He is feuding with Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw.
