Count AJ Styles as among those who tested positive for COVID 19.

During his latest Twitch stream, Styles reacted to the news of The Rock testing positive for COVID and revealed he too tested positive for COVID earlier this year.

"I tested positive a couple of weeks ago, almost a month, I think, ago," he said. "I feel for people who have to deal with this. I gotta say, I didn't have many problems with it. Hopefully The Rock and his family are safe and nobody has too bad of symptoms. It's not good for anybody. I went through it, I was one of the lucky ones. I had a headache, but never had a fever. Maybe a couple of boogers, that's about it."

Styles wrestled Gran Metalik on the July 31 episode of SmackDown, but that show was taped on July 21. Styles' next appearance on SmackDown was August 14 when he re-united with Joseph Park. He would wrestle Jeff Hardy on the August 21 episode of SmackDown, which is when he lost the Intercontinental Championship.
