AJ Styles showed off a different side of himself to end SmackDown Live, decking Vince McMahon in a backstage segment.
McMahon pushed all the right buttons to fire up Styles and seemed pleased with the end result. McMahon questioned the direction of Styles since he lost the WWE Title to Daniel Bryan. He stated that he and Styles are a lot alike as he believes Styles also has a black hole in his heart. McMahon wanted Styles to unleash his inner animal and helped draw the animal out by smacking Styles. The former WWE Champion responded by decking McMahon with a right hand and screaming at the Chairman.
