AJ Styles Wasn’t Initially Sure About Dominik Mysterio, Now Believes He Does It Better Than Anybody
AJ Styles comments on Dominik Mysterio’s character development.
Dominik Mysterio is the current AAA Mega Champion. He’s been on top since turning on his father, Rey Mysterio, a few years back.
Speaking on The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, host Tiny Giles mentioned the possibility of a future match between Dominik and El Grande Americano. Giles noted how Dominik has built his own identity in wrestling rather than being Rey Mysterio’s son.
AJ Styles then commented on Dominik’s character growth in WWE.
“He grew that mustache out and freaking rocking the mullet. Does it better than anybody. His character development and everything that he’s put into it, it works. I’ve said this before. When he first got there, I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t know. I don’t know.’ Then he just blows everybody away. Once he turned on his dad, he turned it all the way up and hasn’t looked back since.”
