AJ Styles Would Like To Take Back Every Phenomenal Forearm He Used In NJPW As A Non-Finish

AJ Styles has always used the phenomenal forearm throughout his career, but it wasn't used as a finish until his time in WWE.

Styles' go-to finisher for the majority of his career was the Styles Clash, and while he used it early during his WWE run, he hasn't consistently performed the move for the better part of his time in WWE.

With the Phenomenal Forearm putting away opponents in WWE, Styles regrets using the move as a non-finish elsewhere.

"I guess, every time I did it in Japan just as a move rather than a finish. I'd like to take that back," Styles told Ryan Satin on Out of Character when asked which Phenomenal Forearm he would take back.

When asked who takes the move the best, Styles said, "Shinsuke takes a pretty good one. Ricochet probably makes it look the best because he's so awesome."

Finally, Styles was asked about his most memorable Phenomenal Forearm. Styles immediately went to the one he hit on John Cena.

"SummerSlam, John Cena and myself. After I hit the Styles Clash, rolled out and hit John with the Phenomenal Forearm and pinned him in the middle of the ring was unbelievable," he recalled.

Styles hopes to hit the Phenomenal Forearm on the July 17 episode of WWE Raw when he and Omos defend the Raw Tag Team Championships against The Viking Raiders.

Elsewhere during the interview, Styles revealed his gift exchange with The Undertaker following the Boneyard match. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
