Al Snow Recalls Arguing With Head At Diners And Restaurants

Al Snow was living the character.

Al Snow was one of the top characters during the Attitude Era, the butt of many Mick Foley jokes, and often praised for his character work. During his hottest run, Snow walked around with a mannaquin head and was always talking to it.

Speaking to Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Snow said that his arguments with Head didn't stop when the cameras were off.

"I would do it as if I were completely and legitimately insane," Snow said when asked how he would approach a media scrum if he had to do them during the Attitude Era. "People don't realize, during that time, I carried the head everywhere. When I went out to eat after shows, I took it into diners, into restaurants, it sat across the table, I'd order dinner. We'd argue and fight. Waitresses would come up, 'Sir, you're making the other customers uncomfortable, they're leaving.' 'Well they're making us uncomfortable, how are we going to eat our food? They [Head] has an upset stomach, I've paid for their dinner, box it up please, we're gonna go.' Then I'd take the second meal back and eat it in the hotel later."

Snow reitterated that if he were asked to do a media scrum, he would do it in character.

Snow was a six-time WWE Hardcore Champion during his run. He remains active in wrestling as the owner of OVW.
