Another version of the Alberto Del Rio stabbing story has emerged.
On Today's edition of The Taz Show, the former WWE Champion appeared and spoke about his highly publicized stabbing incident from last week. Taz joked with Del Rio that he might get attacked with a tire iron coming into the studio.
Del Rio also revealed that his girlfriend, currently suspended WWE Superstar Paige was with him, and one of the reasons the incident took place.
"It was one of those situations where I was at the wrong place at the wrong time... and incident with somebody who disrespected my girl and of course I had to do something, and then the rest is history," said Del Rio.
Previous stories had surfaced involving a road rage incident, as well as a homeless man who had attacked them.
Del Rio was also quick to defend his girlfriend's second suspension, which was handed down yesterday due to painkiller use.
"Everybody knows. The fans, they know who we are, the fans know who they are. All I can say is this is BS. It’s just complete BS. She didn’t deserve that but we’re working on fixing it and just like she said yesterday, same crap, different day. And that’s never gonna change," said Del Rio.
