Alec Price On MJF Match: I Can’t Wait To Prove That The Indies Are Strong And That I Belong On TV
Alec Price is ready to show the world.
On Friday, January 16, Alec Price will compete in the biggest match of his career, as he’ll face MJF for the AEW World Championship at a Limitless Wrestling event. This will be MJF’s return to Limitless after last wrestling for the promotion in 2019.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed for a new interview, Price, a recent independent standout, talked about the opportunity.
“This is a career-changing opportunity. MJF is the biggest star with the biggest title, and I respect that, but I have something to prove. There is a whole other level I haven’t broken through to yet, and this is my chance to do it. When the bell rings, I can’t wait to prove that the indies are strong and that I belong on TV. It’s a blessing, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’ll be swimming in open waters on Friday, but I won’t drown. The stage is set, the world will be watching, and I’m ready.”
Before his match with Price, MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Bandido on the January 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
