Aleister Black says he was thrown to the lions on the European Tour.
While the WWE main roster was on tour in Europe, NXT Champion Aleister Black joined the tour for a few stops like Liverpool and Amsterdam. In an interview with RockSins.com, Black talked about the responsibility of being NXT Champion and the motivation he got from joining the main roster for the tour.
"It?s a huge thing. You?re in with all these people who are such incredible performers, these incredible wrestlers. Guys that are at the top of the world and the top of their game, and you?re being thrown in there and it?s like ?Alright, survive? so I?m being thrown in with the lions to see if I?m a lion myself. It?s an incredible experience and it?s very humbling. It makes me even more focused on doing right by the company with the belt I?m carrying and the brand I?m carrying and incredibly excited for when the time comes for me to truly move up myself and I get to work with all these fantastic professionals," said Black.
In the rest of the interview, Black talked about performing at the upcoming Download festival and his theme music being performed by Code Orange. Black was also recently announced for a "mega match" at the United Kingdom tournament events at Royal Albert Hall in London.
