Aleister Black comments on returning to WWE with his old theme music.
In April of this year, Black would return to WWE after a stint in All Elite Wrestling and returned which much of his presentation that he left behind when he exited WWE in June 2021.
While speaking to WrestleRant in a new interview, Aleister Black spoke about his old WWE theme song and having it upon his WWE return.
“I mean, it was the only thing that would make sense. Like that’s the only thing for the most part that like, you know, people can cling on to and over the years, the amount of people that would reference my music is like the package was obviously, the rising up. I don’t know where the music, the lights, the jackets, the aesthetic, the stoicness, and just the nature of the character in that regard. They were one package. So if you would take one element out from the package, you would tarnish the package. They furnished the memory or level of expectation that fans would have. So we didn’t want to take anything away from it. Even before any conversations were had, what directions it would take, you know, the conversation immediately went like, we’re going to do this and this, and those both included the coming out of nowhere, rising up and the music. That was obviously the first thing that were right back on the table.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Black spoke on if he prefers being a heel or a babyface. You can read more about that here.
