Aleister Black says he would tell his younger self to calm down given the opportunity.
In recent years, Black has found himself jumping between AEW and WWE, and with that has learned several lessons and gained experience in the industry. Now, he’s answered what he would tell his younger self given his experience level now.
In a new interview with The Sportster, Black was asked what he would tell his younger self if he was given the opportunity, noting he would remind himself to calm down and that it was going to be ok.
“Calm down. It’s going to be okay. If I could tell myself, my younger self, that this ride would go as far as it does now, I would say, you know, just calm down. It’s going to be okay, and stop being so incredibly nervous all the time.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Black spoke about the importance of continuity of character while jumping between promotions. You can read more about that here.
Black also recently named his three favorite opponents in All Elite Wrestling. You can read more about that here.
