Alex Abrahantes No Longer With AEW

Alex Abrahantes is a free agent.

Fightful Select has learned that AEW will not be renewing the contract of Alex Abrahantes, who has been with the company since 2019, when he was hired as a part of the Spanish announce team shortly before the first episode of AEW Dynamite.

Throughout his run with the company, Abrahantes wore many hats outside of his announcing duties. Most notably, he served as a manager for Penta and Rey Fenix from 2021 to 2024. Abrahantes also spent time managing Komander in AEW and ROH.

Before joining AEW, Abrahantes had a big history with the world of wrestling, serving as a member of WWE’s creative team in the early 2000s. Abrahantes also spent time with TNA, serving as a producer and web content developer.
