Shelley noted that the injury took place in the same city where he had one of his biggest injuries which required physical therapy. Shelley said there's no therapy for a concussion and missing teeth. The thirty-five year old Shelley also tweeted that maybe he should take the hint about continuing to wrestle.

The injury occurred at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City in a six-man tag team gauntlet match. The taping will air at a later date on Ring of Honor television.
