Alex Windsor Details Moment She Realized Will Ospreay’s Neck Injury Was Much More Serious Than People Thought

Alex Windsor talks about the moment she realized Will Ospreay’s injury was much more serious than people initially thought.

Last year, Will Ospreay underwent neck surgery, which put him on the sidelines for seven months. Ospreay eventually returned to AEW this year during the Revolution pay-per-view. At first, Ospreay feared that he wouldn’t be as good in the ring as he was before his surgery.

Speaking with SHAK Wrestling, Windsor was asked when she realized the severity of Ospreay’s injury.

“I think, being in the industry, everyone has those sort of, ‘Oh this aches, that hurts. Oh, this happened the other day.’ But I think it was when we were at home. Say, if we’ve been to work, and he’d just done a promo or he would’ve been to work, and he’d not done a singles match. Not the type of thing you think, ‘Oh, he’s still got neck pain.’ I think we were driving once, just around our area, and we were in the car. He had his hands on the wheel, and he was like, ‘I’ve got that pain going down my hand.’ I think it’s when it’s just day-to-day situations that we’re in and he’s still in that much pain. It was sort of like, ‘This isn’t just an injury that’s going to be all right in a couple of weeks.’ It was sort of a thing that was really catching him off guard, just doing normal things, not even training. He’s just driving a car. So I think that was when it was sort of really like, ‘Okay this is actually quite serious.’”
