On this past Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Alex Windsor and AEW Women’s World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm would face off in tag team action with Mercedes Mone and Athena. While Mercedes and Athena would score the victory heading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Windsor still remains confident heading into her TBS title fatal four way bout at the pay-per-view.
While speaking in a digital exclusive posted to AEW’s social media channels, Windsor reacted to the segment from Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, noting that today she has a date with destiny.
“Mercedes, congratulations on your win tonight. But I got something better. When I had you tied up in the Windsor knot and I heard you screaming out in pain and I heard tap, tap, tap. Now as my very non-sexual friend Tony Storm once said, darling, tonight was a rehearsal. On Sunday, we do the real thing. Persephone, Bozilla, I am so excited to meet you. But I have a date with destiny. On Sunday, the TBS title has a date with Alex Windsor.”
