Alex Windsor provides an injury update on her partner Will Ospreay, noting that he is ‘absolutely smashing his recovery’.
In September of this year, Ospreay would undergo neck surgery after bowing out of AEW for the time being, and has remained on the sidelines since.
While speaking to Metro in a new interview, Alex Windsor provided an update on Ospreay’s surgery recovery after undergoing a neck procedure.
“Of course, it has been a struggle for him, but he’s doing so well. It’s no surprise, you know, but he’s absolutely smashing it,’ she smiled. ‘I personally [think] he’ll be back better than ever. I have no doubt about it in my mind.”
Alex would then mention that she often gets more worried about Will’s safety in the ring rather than her own.
“I don’t feel like I have half as much like angst about myself as I do when I’m watching Will do his stuff,’ she laughed. ‘I can’t ask him to maybe do something a bit less crazy. I just have to say, “Well, I hope you’d be all right afterwards.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Windsor noted that people believing she was only signed to AEW due to her relationship with Ospreay lights a fire under her. You can read more about that here.
