In September of this year, Alex and Mone would take each other on with the TBS Championship on the line in singles action. While Windsor had previously forced Mone to tap out in a segment, she was unable to defeat Mone and dethrone her as champion, but did come away with different feelings surrounding the former Ring of Honor Women’s Television Champion.
While speaking to Metro in a new interview, Alex Windsor spoke briefly about Mercedes Mone, noting that the TBS Champion wants to help people, and Windsor says you can tell to what degree she wants to.
“You can tell how much she wants to help other people. I had the one singles match with her, and she took the time to just explain things in such a way, it made me feel like, ‘that makes so much sense.'”
