Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Capture WWE Women's Tag Team Championships On RAW

Bliss and Cross' partnership has paid off.

For the first time since the June 17th edition of Monday Night RAW, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics defended their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships on WWE TV. The IIconics put their titles on the line in a Fatal 4-Way elimination match that involved Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and the Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane and Asuka). The conclusion of that match saw Bliss and Cross standing tall as the third team to hold the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

The IIconics were the first team eliminated from the match after their five month reign as champions. Following Royce and Kay out of the match was Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. It came down to Bliss and Cross versus the Kabuki Warriors and after Cross pushed Kairi Sane off the top rope before she could execute the "Insane Elbow", Alexa Bliss capitalized and hit the "Twisted Bliss" to win tag team gold for herself and Nikki Cross.
