Alexa Bliss Says Hosting WrestleMania Makes Her More Nervous Than Having A Match At WrestleMania

Alexa Bliss is feeling the nerves heading into her hosting gig tomorrow.

The superstars of WWE are gearing up for WrestleMania 35 on Sunday and a part of that preparation is talking with various media outlets to promote the event. The host for this year's show, former 5-time WWE Women's Champion Alexa Bliss recently chatted with 'National Sport' about a number of topics relating to her hosting duties and highlights from her in-ring career.

This WrestleMania could be the first year that Bliss has not wrestled on a WrestleMania card since debuting on the main roster in the summer of 2016. She said that she is very excited and nervous to host the "Show Of Shows" and added that hosting WrestleMania makes her more nervous than having a match at WrestleMania.

"I was very excited, very nervous because I've never hosted anything this grand. I've hosted Moment of Bliss, which every time, ends up in a shambles and people are fighting. I'm hoping that WrestleMania goes smoother than that. I'm excited. We've had amazing people host WrestleMania." She continued, "The New Day, The Rock. I've big shoes to fill but I'm hoping I can fill them." Bliss said. "I'd have to say hosting [makes her more nervous], because when you're in the ring and you're having a match at WrestleMania, the crowd is huge. But when you get in the ring, it's the same size. That's your comfort zone. It doesn't matter how big the stadium is, the ring is always the same size. So when you get in the ring, and I've had two WrestleMania matches before, so when you get in the ring, it's like a comfort zone. I've never hosted and had to speak in front of 80 to 100,000 people. So that's gonna be probably my biggest challenge is being able to compose myself while speaking to that many people, because in a match, you can say anything and they don't hear you."

Along with Alexa hosting the show, Elias has declared that he will put on the "greatest musical performance in WrestleMania history" on Sunday as he has also named himself the headlining musical act for Sunday.
