Alexa Bliss speaks on not wanting to be the one to mess up Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse.

In the years of 2020 and 2021, Alexa Bliss would begin to be corrupted by Bray Wyatt and The Fiend, leading to Bliss joining forces with Wyatt and beginning to show off a new character linked to the supernatural much like Wyatt. However, upon initially beginning the program, Bliss was concerned she would possibly mess up the storyline.

While speaking to In The Kliq in a new interview, Alexa Bliss spoke about working with Bray Wyatt, sharing how she initially worried she would ‘mess things up’ when she began working with him.

“It was so fun. I always say it was the most fun I’ve ever had in my career because it was such fun, a fun challenge because he- when I first joined with, with Bray, I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to be the one to mess this up.’ Cause he had such a cool thing going with the Firefly Funhouse and the Wyatt family and the whole thing. So for me, I was stepping into his world and I wasn’t going to be the one to bring it down. So I remember when I first started working with him, he gave me this whole – because he does deep dives on his characters, right? Deep, deep dives and all this research, and he was like, ‘watch these documentaries. Watch these scary movies. Watch this. Watch this. Take notes on this.’ It really made me appreciate the fact that he never – it wasn’t just doing research on your character. He created a whole world for his character, and that was something that I took with me is – you have to know your character inside and out. You have to know where they grew up. You have to know the world that they live in. You have to know what is reality to them and just what we see in front of us. That was something that really opened my eyes character wise, and he was a creative genius and he saw the world of WWE in a different way than anyone else ever has and he created this whole alternate universe within the WWE universe. That was something that I found so fascinating. It’s creativity. He was, and anytime he would start to talk about creative, you, it was like, you had to keep up because he was, his mind was just going. It was so cool to not only witness, but be a part of, and the fact that, we’re continuing his story with the Wyatt Sicks and we have the horrors of the Wyatt Sicks House at the Universals, and I think it’s so cool. I just love that. We’re keeping the WWE as a whole is just keeping his vision alive and keeping him alive in that. I think that he would be super happy with everything that we’re doing to, you know, keep it going.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Bliss spoke about returning to NXT for NXT Homecoming. You can read more about that here.
