Ali has a long history with Freelance Wrestling as one of the top performers who went on to find success in WWE. Ali is a former Freelance Champion, having held the title in 2016.
With Independent wrestling having to cancel or postpone events due to the coronavirus, Freelance Wrestling has stepped up to run a weekly show where fans can donate to help performers who will be losing out on bookings and money. And Ali has stepped up to help out those performers.
The first Freelance event will stream on Saturday, Mar. 21 at 7 p.m. on IWTV. Talent has not been announced for the event.
