On the September 6th edition of AEW Collision, MJF would make a surprising appearance to cost Mark Briscoe the AEW TNT Championship. This came as such a surprise to fans as MJF had just gotten married to AEW backstage interviewer Alicia Atout on September 5th.

Alicia would react to Max’s Collision appearance on social media, joking she ‘didn’t want to have a honeymoon with her new husband anyway’ after MJF’s attack on Briscoe.
