- Alison Brie, star of the wrestling show GLOW that recently was canceled, appeared on "The Fourth Wall" podcast and said don't expect a GLOW movie coming out soon if it does get made. Below is what she said. Quotes thanks to Nerdcore Movement.
“I’m a little pessimistic about it actually happening just in light of everything that’s gone on this year and how difficult it is to get anything back into production with COVID. I’m also part of the ‘Community’ cast, who’s been trying to get a movie going for six years, so what I’m saying is don’t hold your breath because if it does happen, it might take a minute," Brie said.
- Team New Japan, an amateur wrestling team coached by NJPW's Yuji Nagata, has an Olympic hopeful. Oleg Boltin won Kazakhstan's national tournament and is now headed to the 2021 All Asia tournament, which takes place in February. Boltin is aiming to qualify for the 2021 Olympics in Japan, giving NJPW an Olympic presence.
