Aliyah Drafted To SmackDown In 2021 WWE Draft

Another name is jumping brands during the WWE Draft.

On Friday, October 1, WWE kicked off their latest draft on SmackDown. The show featured 4 rounds, with both Raw and SmackDown making a total of 8 selections. The final picks are set to be made this Monday night on Raw. For a rundown of all the picks, click here.

During the draft, both Raw and SmackDown made a selection from NXT. The red brand took The Way's Austin Theory, while SmackDown landed all of Hit Row.

This morning, October 2, on the latest edition of Talking Smack, Kayla Braxton revealed that Aliyah has been drafted to SmackDown.

Aliyah signed with WWE in 2015 and has appeared almost exclusively on NXT programming. In June 2021, she joined the Robert Stone Brand, alongside Jessi Kamea, but turned on him just one month later following a loss to Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro. That was, in fact, her last match on NXT.

In the months since then, she has made one appearance on Main Event while also wrestling 8 dark matches on SmackDown.
